Hi guys, anyone have any comments on what the best Intruder is to get in 72 scale? Is it best to play it safe and stick with Hasegawa?

I don't think the Hasegawa one is very good in this scale though I've seen the Hase Prowler which look ok.

To be honest, I haven't actually seen the Hasegawa A-6 Intruder however I've heard that it's an older kit with minimal detail, raised panels etc.

Your real options are Fujimi and Italeri.

Fujimi have the best A-6 in this scale with leading edge slats good cockpit detail and some good options. They also have released the most variety in version with the A-6E, A-6A, KA-6D (tanker) and EA-6A electronics version.

The Italeri kit is also very nice to build with slightly less detail in the office but has the advantage of folding wings. As far as I know, Italeri only make the A-6E and KA-6D.

Tamiya have also released an A-6 Intruder however this is the same as the Italeri kit.

Bottom line. If you want wing folds go with the Italeri kit, otherwise grab the Fujimi one if you can find it.
